Daisuke Matsuzaka just threw 62 pitches in a simulated game at the minor league complex.

Over what amounted to three innings, Dice-K struck out seven and allowed two hits against minor leaguers. He said later that it was another step forward.

Boof Bonser and Manny Delcarmen also threw.
