Jeremy Hermida never lived up to the high expectations with the Marlins. He faced his former team yesterday as a new member of the Red Sox and Amalie Benjamin has the story.

The notebook today leads off with Tim Wakefield doing on the road and looking good. There are also updates on Jason Varitek, Mike Lowell, Jon Lester, J.D. Drew and Hideki Okajima.

Intrepid Nick Cafardo was in Viera to see the spring debut of Stephen Strasburg. Everybody was duly impressed.
