Red Sox head inside for the day
It's raining in Fort Myers and it's not supposed to stop. But it's not a day off for the Sox.
Those pitchers who have to throw side sessions will either wait for a break in the weather (good luck with that) or throw in the batting cages. The hitters will take their hacks inside and there is sufficient room for the players to get their conditioning work in.
It was going to be a short day regardless with the games starting tomorrow. Traditionally, teams dial it back a bit the day before.
