The official filing of Josh Beckett's deal is done.

The total deal is $68,520,403.

As already reported, Beckett receives a $5 million bonus this season and salaries of $15,750,000 from 2011-14.

Other benefits:

$50,000 for All-Star.

$75,000 for LCS MVP

$100,000 for World Series MVP

$50,000 for Gold Glove

$500,000 for MVP

$500,000 Cy Young

$100,000 for second through fifth in Cy Young voting

$500,000 if he's traded

Also receives a no trade clause equal to the best existing clause on the team

May also purchase 6 premium seats to all home games

We should also note, the Red Sox will likely take out a disability insurance policy on Beckett to protect their assets. The Sox currently have a policy on Beckett that covers the three-year deal he's currently working under, but the team will have to decide how much, or if all of the new contract they want to cover. The cost is estimated by industry experts to be anywhere from $3-$5 million depending upon the extent of coverage.
