Jay-Z suing David Ortiz over nightclub name

Red Sox slugger David Ortiz is being sued by rapper and part-New Jersey Nets owner Jay-Z over the use of the rapper's night club name, 40/40, according to a Reuters report.
Ortiz has a night club in the Dominican Republic called the Forty-Forty club, according to the report, and also has a Web site registered by the same name, www.fortyforty.net. Jay-Z (Sean Carter) and business partner Juan Perez own 40/40 clubs in New York, Atlantic City and Las Vegas.
"David Ortiz is fully aware of plaintiff's Manhattan 40/40 Club, since he had been a patron there on several occasions long before he opened his infringing Forty/Forty Club," said the lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court.
