Terry Francona is still mulling over his lineup and is taking a look at how Beltre fits behind Ortiz today. He admitted he's not sure about Sunday. ... Jeremy Hermida will get a bunch of at-bats in minor leagues games today. He'll hop around and take his hacks in different games. ... All of the minor injuries appear healed. Ellsbury (sore arm), Ortiz (stiff neck) and Youkilis (right knee) are are playing and fine.

Opening Day notes: Keri Hilson will sing the National Anthem on Sunday. ... Two F-16 Fighting Falcon Fighter Jets from the 158th Fighter Wing of the Vermont Air National Guard will kick-off the Opening Night pre-game festivities with a flyover to salute the thousands of troops around the world who will be watching the game on the American Forces Network. The ‘Green Mountain Boys’ will perform the flyover at the beginning of the ceremony rather than their customary time at the conclusion of the National Anthem because of aviation safety regulations that require the flyover to take place before the end of twilight.

UPDATE, 12:26 p.m.: Here's Ms. Hilson singing the anthem at a recent NBA game. Hope she does a better job at Fenway (thanks to The Big Lead and some sharp-eyed readers for the link):
