Josh Beckett will throw a side session tomorrow and if that goes well will face the Yankees in New York on Tuesday.

Mike Cameron wil play LF in Pawtucket tonight. It's just to protect his legs. He'll stay in CF once he returns.

UPDATE, 6:13 p.m.: Beckett also played long toss on Thursday before the team flew to Detroit. Yesterday's session, he said, was pretty good. Today was great.

"I just want to feel healthy after my side. Iím definitely ready to pitch again," he said.

The back issue popped up on Monday. Beckett said he was not injured at all during his start against the Yankees last Friday.,

"Itís definitely better,Ē Beckett said. ďThese things kind of go at their own course. Sometimes they can take longer than other times. I definitely think this one was one that took its own course."
