Pitching: LHP Dana Eveland (3-1, 3.82).

Game time: 7:10 p.m.

TV/Radio: NESN / WRKO.

State of the Sox: The Sox have won two straight, six of eight, and 13 of their last 20.

Home cooking: The Sox are 6-2 on a homestand that has two games left. They have won nine of their last 13 at home.

Dice-OK: Matsuzaka has sure had a weird 10 innings since he came off the disabled list. If you add up his last inning against Baltimore April 24 and his first inning against the Angels May 6 you get 1 2/3 innings, 8 hits, 10 earned runs.

The rest of his two outings? 8 1/2 innings, 4 hits, 1 earned run.

Add them together and you get a 9.90 ERA, which stinks. But at least there are signs that he has the ability to get outs. Tonight will be an interesting test for him.

Down on the farm: Mike Cameron is set to play center field for Pawtucket Tuesday night. He was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk as the DH Monday night and scored from second on a single.

Beating on the Blue Jays: The Sox are 4-0 against the Jays this season but have outscored them by only five runs.

Hot hitters: Marco Scutaro has hit safely in 13 of the last 14 games. ... Kevin Youkilis has a nine-game hitting streak going. ... Adrian Beltre is 23 of 61 (.377) with 12 RBIs over 15 games.

I am not covering the game tonight. But Nick Cafardo will have updates throughout the night. Hope you enjoy the game.
