The Red Sox continued their bullpen renovation by signing Dan Wheeler to a one-year deal. The Rhode Island native tells Nick Cafardo he's excited to join the Sox.

Walt Dropo passed away at the age of 87. The "Big Moose From Moosup" was a three-sport UConn legend who was the AL Rookie of the Year for the Sox in 1950 and once had hits in a record 12 consecutive trips to the plate.
