Youk and 'Tek spread some holiday spirit

image001.jpgKevin Youkilis was at the Italian Home for Children in Jamaica Plain today to celebrate the holidays with the kids there.

Kevin provided lunch and handed out gifts. His foundation, Youk's Kids, works with the Italian Home annually. The home is a day and residential treatment center for children of all races and nationalities ranging in age from 4-13. These children are survivors of abuse, neglect, and severe emotional and behavioral issues.

The Italian Home’s mission is to give children the tools they will need to carry them through life, in a safe and caring environment and to provide them with the highest quality care, education and counseling possible.

Meanwhile, Jason Varitek was on "The Today Show" today with his daughters to promote MLB's charitable endeavors:
