PawSox Hot Stove Party is tomorrow
Let's be blunt: The weather sucks. We're all sick of snow, ice and having to dress like Robert Peary to go outside and get the mail.
Here's a solution, if only for a few hours. Head to McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket tomorrow for the PawSox Hot Stove Party.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be inside the clubhouse and batting tunnels. You can meet new manager Arnie Beyeler and a bunch of players including Robert Coello, Ryan Lavarnway, Stephen Fife and Jason Rice.
The folks who run the Paw Sox could not be nicer and you'll warm up with some good baseball talk. There will be food, stuff for the kids and a chance to buy tickets for the season.
If you've been to McCoy for a game, you know how great it is. If you haven't, you really should go. The PawSox will have a bunch of interesting players this season and there's not a bad seat in the place.
