We will be heading down to the clubhouse soon.

Bard now pitching for the Sox.

Easy inning for Blackburn. Varitek singled to left before Dlugach grounded into a 4-6-3 double play that included a nifty turn by Plouffe. Sutton then grounded to first.
Dice-K is out and Tim Wakefield is in. Unusual to see Varitek catching Wake.

Dice-BB walked Bailey on five pitches. Dinkleman grounded to first. Lars Anderson got the out at second but Brent Dlugach made an ill-advised throw to first and it went wild.

Ah, Daisuke Matsuzaka. Let's review the inning:
Revere: Line drive to first.
Plouffe: Struck out on a full-count fastball
Kubel: Got ahead in the count, hammered a 3-2 pitch to dead center, halfway up the batter's eye.
Hughes: Popped to first.
In all, 16 pitches. But he did throw 10 strikes.
Pre-game: Oh, baby. More baseball. It's 82 in the Fort and the Sox are playing the Twins again. Hang out here for updates.
