FORT MYERS, Fla. The Sox finished a long day by beating Northeastern 13-2. Down 2-0, they scored five runs in the fourth inning, two in the fifth and six more in the sixth.

The Huskies committed seven errors. Their pitchers allowed only three earned runs but walked 12.

Terry Francona said everybody came away healthy. He was more concerned with what time his neighborhood Target closed because he needs to go grocery shopping. The good news for the skipper is he has until 10 p.m.

Meanwhile here are the pitching plans for the next three games:

Red Sox: Daisuke Matsuzaka, Tim Wakefield, Andrew Miller, Daniel Bard.

Tuesday at Minnesota
