FORT MYERS, Fla. Things learned this morning in the clubhouse:

David Ortiz refers to Alfredo Aceves and Dennys Reyes as "The Mexican Mafia."

Juan Carlos Linares' favorite player when he was in Cuba was Kevin Youkilis, but he has been afraid to tell him that.

Jed Lowrie is finishing up his political science degree from Stanford. He had three electives to take and enrolled in a photography class and is doing an independent study on labor relations in sports. Jed's last year in school was 2005. You have to give him a lot of credit for going back to finish.

Marco Scutaro is taking an active role in mentoring several young players including Jose Iglesias, Oscar Tejada and Yamaico Navarro.

Luis Exposito is an excellent Angry Birds player.

Be back later for our live chat at 10:30 a.m.
