FORT MYERS, Fla. Just returned from the Player Development Complex where seven count 'em, seven Red Sox pitchers were getting some work in. Here are the results:

Class AAA game vs. Rochester (Twins)

Tim Wakefield: 5 IP, 7 H, 6 R, 5 ER, 1 BB, 0 K, 1 HR, 1 HBP, 78 pitches, 52 strikes.

Rich Hill: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 1 K, 20 pitches, 9 strikes.

CLASS AA game vs. New Britain (Twins)

Jonathan Papelbon: 1 IP, 1 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 1 K, 1 HR, 13 pitches, 10 strikes.
