The Red Sox, who traded Bubba Bell yesterday, have released three other veteran minor leaguers: 1B-OF Aaron Bates, INF-OF Ryan Khoury, and RHP Adam Mills.

Bates is a former third-round pick (2006) who spent five years in the organization. Khoury was a 12th round pick in 2006 while Mills was taken in the ninth round in 2007. All three ended last season in Pawtucket
