FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Red Sox have signed LHP Dennys Reyes to a Major League Contract and opened room on the 40-man roster by putting RHP Junichi Tazawa on the 60-day disabled list.

Terry Francona would not say Reyes is on the 25-man roster. But signing him to a contract would seem to indicate that is the case.

The final spot in the bullpen is down to RHPs Alfredo Aceves and Matt Albers with LHP Hideki Okajima a possibility.

Aceves and Okajima have minor league options remaining, which could be the deciding factor.
