The Red Sox will soon unfurl a giant U.S. flag from the Green Monster. There are 18 servicemen and women on the warning track.

There's a special color guard of police officers, too. The Red Sox and Angels players are on the baselines for the anthem, which is being played by the Brockton High Band.

There will be a moment of silence to remember the victims of Sept. 11 and "God Bless America" will be performed in the seventh inning.

To recognize the Celtics and Bruins being in the playoffs, Satch Sanders and Derek Sanderson are throwing out ceremonial first pitches. They were joined by Army Ranger Lucas Carr of South Boston.
