Pedroia at his best against the Yankees
Here's a weird statistic for you. Dustin Pedroia is 10 of 16 (.625) against the Yankees this season with four extra-base hits and five RBIs in four games.
In 33 games against everybody else, he is 24 of 126 (.190) with three extra-base hits and five RBIs.
In other weirdness related to small sample size, Mark Teixeira is 0 for 17 against the Red Sox this season with seven strikeouts.
Then there's this: Adrian Gonzalez leads the American League with 31 RBIs. The guy behind him? Adrian Beltre with 29.
Josh Beckett against CC Sabathia tonight. Check back later for the lineups.
