Bobby Jenks threw off the mound this afternoon, about 25 pitches, and said he felt great. They'll repeat that on Wednesday. He is hopeful of being activated in Detroit, but Terry Francona indicated the other day that a rehab game might be needed.

John Lackey will throw in the bullpen tomorrow for the first time since he went on the disabled list. Lackey has refused interview requests since his last start, on May 11. But he reportedly will answer questions tomorrow.
