Notes: Wakefield, who turned 45 on Tuesday, takes his second stab at winning his 200th game. He pitched well in Chicago over the weekend, allowing three runs over seven innings, but took the loss. Wakefield is aiming to become the oldest pitcher at the time of his 200th win. ... Wakefield faced the Indians once this season, throwing two innings in relief on April 6. He is 12-8, 4.05 in 30 career appearances aganst the Indians. ... Pedroia has hit safely in 24 straight home games, the third longest streak since 1919 and the longest since Nomar Garciaparra hit safely in 31 straight home games in 2002.
