Notes: The Sox, as you may have heard, have lost five straight, seven of eight and nine of 11. They start the day four games behind in the division and three ahead in the wild card. ... Wakefield is going for his 200th victory yet again. He last won on July 24 and is 0-3 in seven starts since. Wakefield faced the Jays last Wednesday and allowed four earned runs over five innings. He left with an 8-5 lead only to see the bullpen allow six runs. ... Morrow has never pitched well against the Sox. In three starts this season he has allowed 21 earned runs on 23 hits and seven walks over 13.2 innings.
