Notes: The Angels were eliminated by losing last night. ... If the teams tie, they would play a one-game playoff on Thursday (time TBA) at Tampa Bay. The Rays would host by virtue of winning the season series against the Red Sox. The winner would then travel to Texas or Detroit the next day to start the Division Series.

The Braves lead the Cardinals by one game in the NL Wild Card Standings.
