Yankees lose — and now comes the schedule

Interesting times for the Yankees.

Their game last night against Baltimore started at 11:08 p.m. after a delay of four hours and three minutes. It ended at 2:15 a.m., with New York winning.

The teams came back today for a day game that went 11 innings. The Orioles won, 5-4. Now the Yankees and Orioles go to Baltimore for a game tomorrow afternoon, a makeup of an earlier rainout.

That is the start of a 10-game trip that also will hit Anaheim Seattle and Toronto.

If the Red Sox are going to make a move, now is the time.
