Notes: The teams are playing a game postponed by the idea of rain last night. It never actually rained. "This is kind of a mystery. If somebody buys an umbrella down here, they cancel school evidently. I don't know," Tigers manager Jim Leyland said. ... Detroit activated Delmon Young to take the roster spot of Magglio Ordonez, who re-fractured his right ankle. Young was originally left off the roster because of a strained oblique muscle but has recovered enough to play.
