Pedro Martinez will appear at the annual New Stars For Young Stars event at Jillian's in Boston on Jan. 14.

Sox prospects scheduled to be on hand include Will Middlebrooks, Alex Wilson and Kolbrin Vitek.

The Jimmy Fund also will host "An Intimate Dinner with Pedro Martinez and Friends" the night before at the Liberty Hotel.
