Tiant event at Remy's

If you believe Luis Tiant should be in the Hall of Fame - and this correspondent has always held that view - then tomorrow night's Tiant event at Remy's is for you.

The event is the brainchild of Saul Wisnia, author of "Fenway Park: The Centennial."

Wisnia will have a petition on hand that can be signed ahead of the Veterans Committee vote next Monday to determine that committee's next choice(s) for induction into Cooperstown.

Tiant will be present at Remy's near Fenway Park from 6-9 p.m.
