FORT MYERS, Fla. — John Henry and Tom Werner are expected here in 10 days or so. The Red Sox owners always address the team before the first full-squad workout.

But for the moment, they're in England dealing with a crisis involving Liverpool.

According to reports in the UK, Henry and Werner flew over to rescue their football team from the fallout surrounding the allegedly racist actions of star player Luis Suarez. The prime minister is involved and Liverpool could lose a major sponsor. It's quite a mess.
