FORT MYERS, Fla. — Just back from the Globe event at Shoeless Joe's in Fort Myers this evening.

Met Red Sox fans from Florida, Tennessee, Ohio, Colorado, Oklahoma, Virginia and even Massachusetts. It was fun to talk baseball with so many of you. Thanks to everybody who showed up and thanks for reading the paper, whether it's in print or here on line.

The Globe marketing folks tell me we'll have an event in Boston early in the season and I'm trying to arrange one in New York. We'll have the details as they become available.
