The Red Sox announced that members of the Boston Pops and the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, conducted by James Orent, will perform the National Anthem on Friday for the home opener.

There will be a flyover of F-16 jets by the "Green Mountain Boys" of the Air National Guard's 134th Fighter Squadron out of Burlington, Vt.

Ceremonies are scheduled to begin at approximately 1:30 p.m. Game time is scheduled for 2:05 p.m.

No word yet on who will be throwing out the first pitch.

Military personnel from Hanscom Air Force Base will be on hand to present the colors.

Eleven-year-old Rosie Newton of St. Albans, Vt., will sing "God Bless America" during the 7th inning stretch.

Gate openings: Per the Red Sox, all gates will open two hours before game time, as they will on weekend games in 2012 (Fridays through Sundays). On weeknights (Mondays through Thursdays), gates open 1½ hours before game time.

Red Sox Nation members can enter the ballpark 2½ hours before games using their Nation’s Way entrance at Gate C.

Royal Rooters Club members and premium ticket holders have access to the ballpark two hours before games.
