Sabermetrics, Scouting, and the Science of Baseball, a weekend seminar to benefit The Jimmy Fund, will be held Aug. 4-5 at Boston University’s Metcalf Science Center.

Panelists will include Bobby Valentine, Tim Bogar, Red Sox pro scouting director Jared Porter, BrooksBaseball.net creator, Dr. Daniel Brooks, baseball physicist, Dr. Alan Nathan, and many more including Kevin Goldstein, Mitchel Lichtman, and Dr. Andy Andres.

Tickets for the seminar are $125, with a discounted pass of $65 available to full-time students.

Get your tickets now at saberseminar.com.

The best part? All of the speakers are donating their time and BU's Center for Neuroscience and Department of Physics sponsored the event. That means all the money raised will go directly to The Jimmy Fund.

If you're a baseball fan who wants to understand more about the game and hear from the experts, this is the event for you.
