Daniel Bard entered a two-run game for Pawtucket in the eighth inning tonight in Syracuse and got Mark Teahen to pop up with two runners on.

But Bard blew the save in the ninth inning of a game the PawSox eventually lost, 6-5, in 11 innings.

Bard allowed a double and a single to start the inning. A wild pitch scored a run. With two outs and a runner on third, Bard threw a second wild pitch to allow the tying run.

Bard has pitched in five games for Pawtucket, four in relief. His line: 7.1 IP, 7 H, 6 R, 6 ER, 2 BB, 10 K, 2 HBP, 2 WP.
