Daniel Bard threw two more scoreless innings Sunday for Triple A Pawtucket.

The righthander pitched the seventh and eighth innings of a 6-1 victory at Buffalo. He allowed two hits without a walk and struck out two.

Bard has thrown four scoreless innings in his last two appearances, walking one and striking out six.

Cody Ross was 0 for 4. He popped to first, flied to right, flied to center, was hit by a pitch (and eventually scored) and grounded to short. Ross played fight field.

Ross is 1 for 7 in two games for Pawtucket on his rehab assignment.
