Boston.com has a new blog that you will want to bookmark. It's all about the Red Sox minor league prospects.

On Deck is written by Craig Forde and has been up and running since Friday. There is already an exclusive interview with Ryan Lavarnway.

One of my frustrations as a beat writer is not getting a chance to spend more time writing about prospects because covering the 25 players on the major league roster is a full-time job.

Hopefully this new blog and our weekly minor league notebook (in the paper every Friday) gives you a good sense of what is going on within the Sox organization.
