Thirty-three cancer survivors, both adults and children, who are Pan-Massachusetts Challenge cyclists will be honored by the Red Sox on Saturday during PMC Day at Fenway Park.

Participants will ride their bicycles around the warning track in a pregame ceremony that will mark the Red Sox' 10th year as sponsors of the PMC and celebrate PMC riders’ commitment to raising money for cancer research.

Krystn Cinelli of Haverhil will sing the national anthem. Joey Bianco of Natick will serve as bat boy and Samantha Burns of Weston will serve as bat girl. Tim Burke of South Boston, the PMC Team 9 Pedal Partner, will announce “play ball.”

On August 4-5, 5,500 cyclists will ride up to 190-miles across Massachusetts in the PMC bike-a-thon. This year’s goal is to raise $36 million for adult and pediatric cancer research and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through the Jimmy Fund.
