According to various reports, the Dodgers have obtained SS-3B Hanley Ramirez and LHP Randy Choate from the Marlins for LHP Nathan Eovaldi and Single A RHP Scott McGough.

The Dodgers agreed to pick all of the money owed to Ramirez, $37.5 million, through the 2014 season.

The Marlins have traded Ramirez, Choate, RHP Anibal Sanchez and infielder Omar Infante in the last two days.

If RHP Josh Johnson (signed through 2013) becomes available, the Red Sox could be among the suitors.

Also, the Phillies are said to be ready to announce an extension for Cole Hamels. So cross him off your wish list.
