Final: Orioles 5, Red Sox 2

Game over Orioles 5, Red Sox 2: The Sox were held to seven hits and fell to 7-8. Terry Doyle allowed three runs in the ninth. The Sox got one back in the bottom of the inning but that was it.

Bottom 6th: Orioles 2, Red Sox 1: Will Middlebrooks had two walks and a single before being removed for a pinch-runner. Jarrod Saltalamacchia also singled and left the game after two hits.

Top 6th: Orioles 2, Red Sox 1: Andrew Miller struck out two and continued to look solid this spring.

Top 5th: Orioles 2, Red Sox 1: Joel Hanrahan pitched one inning and struck out two. He's expected to leave the team shortly to be with his wife who's expecting a child. Doubront went three innings, allowed four hits, two runs, walked one and struck out five.

Top 3rd, Orioles 2, Red Sox 1: Nolan Reimold singled to left field scoring Alexi Casilla with the go ahead run. Doubront also walked Luis Exposito, the No. 9 hitter.

Top 2nd: Orioles 1, Red Sox 1: The Sox tied it when Mitch Maier stroked a double to right scoring Will Middlebrooks (walk).

Top 1st, Orioles 1, Red Sox 0: Felix Doubront, making his second start, allowed a run when Alexi Casilla doubled on his first pitch and scored on Lew Ford's single. Doubront got out of the rest of the inning, but the Sox failed to convert two double-plays, one when Mike Napoli couldn't handle a one-hop throw from second baseman Brock Holt.
