Final: Orioles 12, Red Sox 9

Game over: Orioles 12, Red Sox 9: Jackie Bradley Jr. tripled in the ninth on a drive to right field after he'd knocked in two runs with a single.

Bottom 7th: Orioles 12, Red Sox 9 - JJ Hardy provided the seventh homer of the game, a three-run shot.

Top 7th: Orioles 9, Red Sox 9 - A Mike Carp RBI double and a Jackie Bradley two-run single tied it up for the Sox. Bradley's hit came as a pinch-hitter against Pedro Strop one of the top relievers in baseball.

Top 6th: Orioles 9, Red Sox 6 - Jonny Gomes drilled a two-run homer with Christian Vazquez aboard to deep leftcenter. Vazquez had doubled.

Bottom 4th: Orioles 9, Red Sox 4 - Boston pitching has been pounded. Not a good day for Clayton Mortensen who allowed back to back homers to Adam Jones and Matt Wieters. Jones' was a two-run homer, his second of the game.

Bottom 3rd: Orioles 6, Red Sox 4 - Adam Jones hit a solo homer to lead off the inning. An infield hit by Matt Wieters, a bunt single by Chris Davis led to a ground-rule double by JJ Hardy on a ball that Jonny Gomes completely misplayed in the wind and sun in left field, scoring a pair. Wilson Betemit then hit a sacrifice fly to score the thrid run.

Top 3rd: Red Sox 4, Orioles 3 - Three consecutive singles by Jonny Gomes, Mike Napoli and Will Middlebrooks produced the fourth run. Napoli was caught in a rundown between third and home on Ryan Sweeney's grounder after he went first to third on Lyle Overbay's fly ball out.

Bottom 2nd: Red Sox 3, Orioles 3 - Wilson Betemit blasted a three-run homer off Sox starter Graham Godfrey. Chris Davis singled and JJ Hardy doubled ahead of it.

Top 2nd: Red Sox 3, Orioles 0 - Christian Vazquez, the stellar defensive catcher, slammed a two-run homer to left field with Jose Iglesias aboard to give the Red Sox the three-run lead. The homer came off T.J. McFarland

Top 1st: Red Sox 1, Orioles 0 - with two outs, Mike Napoli doubled to rightfield and scored on Will Middlebrooks' single to left center off starter T.J. McFarland.
