Game over: Red Sox 4, Twins 2: Hanrahan allowed a run on two hits and a walk but the Sox win to finish the spring 17-17-1.

Top of the 9th: Red Sox 4, Twins 1: The Sox (and Andrew Bailey) allowed an unearned run thanks to an error by Mookie Betts.

Off to the clubhouse. Back in a bit. Hanrahan in for an actual save situation.

Top of the 8th: Red Sox 4, Twins 0: Andrew Miller with a perfect inning. Sox six outs away from a shutout.

Top of the 7th: Red Sox 4, Twins 0: Felix Doubront threw five shutout innings in his spring wrap-up. He scattered six hits, walked one and struck out six. After a slow start due to a sore shoulder and poor conditioning, Doubront had a 3.00 ERA in five spring starts.

Righthanded reliever Koji Uehara retired both batters he faced to complete a dominating spring. In 10 appearances, Uehara threw 9 2/3 scoreless innings. He allowed four hits, walked two and struck out 12.

Top of the 5th: Red Sox 4, Twins 0: Singles by Salty, Nava and Iglesias loaded the bases for Bradley. He got up 3-and-1 then swung and missed twice. But Victorino singled in two runs. The second baseman, Dozier, should have made the play.

Top of the 4th: Red Sox 2, Twins 0: Doubront allowed a single, but that was it. Pedroia singled with two outs and Napoli was hit by a pitch. Middlebrooks hit the ball hard but right to Ramirez in right.

Bradley now in center, Ciriaco at second and Carp at first.

Top of the 3rd: Red Sox 2, Twins 0: Doubront left two runners on. He has been playing with fire so far. Middlebrooks singled to center to start the bottom of the inning. With two outs, Middlebrooks stole second. He then scored on a single by Nava.

Top of the 2nd: Red Sox 1, Twins 0: Doubront left the bases loaded by striking out Ramirez looking. The Sox got a run when Ellsbury reached on an infield single, advanced on a groundout and Napoli lined a pitch off the wall. Napoli was thrown out going to second.

Pre-game: Good afternoon from JetBlue Park for the final time this spring training. It'll be Felix Doubront for four innings against the Twins. Look for the starters to get two at-bats before everybody packs up and heads for New York.

The game is on NESN Plus and WEEI. But we will have occasional updates here, too.
