Major League Baseball has named the umpire crew for the American League Division Series involving the Red Sox.

Dana DeMuth will be the crew chief. He will be joined by Eric Cooper, Paul Emmel, Chris Guccione, Larry Vanover and regular season crew chief Mike Winters.

Guccione will have the plate Friday with Cooper at first, DeMuth at second, Emmel at third, Winters in left and Vanover in right.

Start times have not been released for the games. We will post them as soon they become available.

Based on social media posts, Farrah and Jon Lester had their baby. Lester left Baltimore after he pitched on Saturday to be with his wife.

The Rays play the Rangers at 8:07 p.m. tonight in Texas. The game is on TBS. It will be David Price against Martin Perez.

Based on that, Perez or Price could come back and pitch Game 2 of the Division Series on Saturday if either of those teams advance.

The Red Sox are off today and will hold workouts at Fenway Park on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Thursday's workout is controlled by MLB and involves both teams. The Sox are on their own Tuesday and Wednesday and will hold an intrasquad game on Wednesday.

John Farrell said Sunday that he has not decided how to split up the teams. The game is more to get the pitchers some work, specifically expected Game 3 starter Clay Buchholz.
