FORT MYERS, Fla. As snow once again bears down on New England, it might be nice to know that the Red Sox are only 30 days away from Opening Day in Baltimore.

Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel was at JetBlue Park last night for a charity event the Red Sox Foundation held in a tent outside the park. "Johnny Football" mingled with Red Sox players and invited guests.

The Sox are at the Twins today, a road trip of six miles to newly refurbished Hammond Stadium.

Here are links to our Globe stories:

Anthony Ranaudo was a presence for the Red Sox in his spring training debut.

The notebook has Jonny Gomes in a leading role.
