Losers of four straight games, the Red Sox hope to get back in the wins column on Tuesday night, when they face the Toronto Blue Jays at Fenway Park.

After John Farrell mixed up his rotation last week to best prepare for their weekend series with the Tigers, Felix Doubront will get the start tonight and try to steer the Red Sox in the right direction.

The 26-year-old is 2-3 in eight starts this season with an ERA of 4.54. Doubront pitched well in his last starts on May 14 against the Twins, going 6.1 innings while allowing only one run on seven hits with one walk and five strikeouts in the Red Sox’ 9-4 win.

Doubront has faced five current Blue Jays more than a dozen times, with Jose Reyes being the most successful, hitting .400 in 15 at bats with a home run and two RBIs. Edwin Encarnacion has faced him 18 times, hitting .333 with two walks, while Brett Lawrie has hit .313 in 16 at bats against the Boston lefthander. Jose Bautista has hit just .214 in 14 at bats against Doubront, but has three home runs, while Adam Lind has only two hits and a walk in 13 career plate appearances against him.

The Blue Jays will counter with J.A. Happ, who is 2-1 in six appearances, three of them being starts, this year with a 3.57 ERA. Happ picked up his second win in his last appearance, going six full innings against the Indians on May 15, allowing a run on six hits with two walks and four strikeouts.

The Red Sox roster doesn’t have a ton of experience facing Happ, with Jonny Gomes being the only batter having plate appearances against him in double digits. In 16 chances against Happ, Gomes has just one hit and four walks with one RBI. Dustin Pedroia has three hits in seven at bats against Happ, while Shane Victorino, the only other batter with half a dozen times facing him, has one hit with three walks.
