Game 52 Lineups: Lackey, Red Sox Seek This Season's First Winning Streak

After a couple of quality victories in Atlanta snapped their 10-game losing skid, the Red Sox return to Boston looking to win three straight for the first time this season, welcoming the Braves -- and several members of the 2004 World Series champs, including the inimitable Manuel Aristides Ramirez -- to Fenway Park on Wednesday night.

After a pregame ceremony marking the 10-year anniversary of the franchise's most celebrated title, John Lackey takes the ball for the Red Sox, opposed by former White Sox righty Gavin Floyd. Here are the "nine to know," and here are the lineups:

Notes: It's a damp day in Boston, and temperatures aren't expected to climb above 51 degrees (according to weather.com) during the game, but rain is not expected to be a factor ... This opens a five-game homestand for the Sox, starting with two against the Braves before the Rays arrive for a weekend series ... The Sox have won consecutive games eight times this season, but have yet to win three straight ... Boston has lost six consecutive games at Fenway, where the team is 10-17 this season.
