Notes: The Red Sox defeated the Rays yesterday at Fenway Park, 4-0, for their second shutout win in the last five games... According to Elias, a win tonight would give the Red Sox the longest winning streak in MLB history immediately following a losing streak of at least 10 games.... Lackey 4-1 with a 2.27 ERA in his last seven starts and has not allowed a run in 13 1/3 innings over his previous two starts. He last faced Cleveland in May 2013, giving up two hits and one unearned run in seven innings of work in an 8-1 Sox win... Masterson, the former Red Sox product, has struggled this season and is 0-2 with a 9.98 ERA in his last three starts (outside of a rain-shortened start) and has also lost three straight game to the Red Sox, putting up a 7.94 ERA.
