Notes: Red Sox pitchers have given up no more than 3 runs in any of their last 9 home games, the team’s longest such streak at home since allowing 3 runs or less in 11 straight home games from Sept. 3-28, 1986.. De La Rosa has lost two straight starts, going 5 2/3 innings and allowing exactly four runs in each defeat... the Red Sox righty went 7 innings and allowed one run, losing his only career start vs. the Twins on June 29, 2011 while he was still with the Dodgers... Correira has allowed fewer than three runs only three times in 13 starts in 2014 but in his last start, he gave up just 6 hits in 6 innings in a 4-0 win at Toronto.... On May 14, Correira gave up 5 runs and 9 hits in four innings when the Red Sox hammered the Twins, 9-4... the Twins' Trevor Plouffe was placed on the 15-day disabled list Sunday due to a strained left oblique muscle... Dustin Pedroia went 0 for 5 in Sunday's loss to the Indians and is hitting .143 over his last eight games but he has hit .347 (68-for-196) in his career against Minnesota... Since his June 2 recall from Pawtucket, Daniel Nava is 11-for-29 (.379) and leads the AL in that timeframe with a .486 OBP... David Ortiz is a .349 hitter (76-for-218) against his former team.
