“Anything you can do, I can do better…”
Not to be outdone by Grady Sizemore’s grab in the fifth inning, Jackie Bradley Jr. made a terrific double play to end the top of the seventh.
With one out and Mike Aviles on first base, Michael Bourn launched a deep drive to centerfield that looked like it may grab the wall.
Bradley raced back, sprinting the whole way, and made the catch just before crashing into the wall.
The catch itself was impressive, but what he did next was even greater. Turning around and seeing Aviles well past second base, Bradley fired a dart back to the infield, reaching Mike Napoli on one hop, allowing the first baseman to easily tag the bag for the inning-ending double play.
