MLB Suspends Alfredo Aceves 50 Games

Former Red Sox pitcher Alfredo Aceves, whose time in Boston was tumultuous at best, has found himself in more hot water with MLB.

Aceves pitched for the Red Sox from 2011 to 2013, posting a 3.94 ERA in 135 games. The 31-year-old Aceves was currently pitching for the Yankees Triple-A affiliate Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Despite pitching well for the Red Sox, Aceves had notable run-ins with manager Bobby Valentine and then John Farrell.
