Not one. Not two. Not three. Not four.
How about five? Seven too.
The Red Sox scored seven times in the 11th inning Tuesday night at Toronto (at certain points this season, they’d score seven runs over a three or four game stretch) to beat the Blue Jays, 11-7, an inning highlighted by Mike Napoli’s mammoth home run, a shot that landed in the fifth deck of Rogers Stadium.
Napoli is only the 17th player to hit one that far in the 25-year history of the building. Not that it’s a big deal.
“Just another homer,” he said.
The Red Sox go for the series sweep – really – against the Jays Wednesday night with Joe Kelly on the mound.
