The Sox will look to leave Tampa with a series win today against the Rays but will have to do it, at least for starters, without DH David Oritz, who is out of the lineup. On the heels of yesterday's dominant performance from Clay Buchholz, Boston sends Rubby De La Rosa to the hill in search of the team's fifth win in its last seven games. De La Rosa has struggled on the road this season, winning just one of four decisions, but has posted a quality start in four of his last six outings.

Here are today’s lineups for the Red Sox and Rays:

RED SOX (60-76)
1. Mookie Betts CF
2. Brock Holt 2B
3. Yoenis Cespedes LF
4. Mike Napoli DH
5. Allen Craig 1B
6. Daniel Nava RF
7. Will Middlebrooks 3B
8. Xander Bogaerts SS
9. Christian Vazquez C
SP: Rubby De La Rosa RHP (4-5, 3.81 ERA)

RAYS (66-71)
1. Ben Zobrist 2B
2. Wil Myers RF
3. Matt Joyce LF
4. Evan Longoria 3B
5. James Loney 1B
6. David DeJesus DH
7. Yunel Escobar SS
8. Ryan Hanigan C
9. Kevin Kiermaier CF
SP: Drew Smyly (9-10, 3.31 ERA)

Game time: 1:10 p.m.

Notes:Dustin Pedroia remains out of the Sox lineup as he's still experiencing concussion like symptoms stemming from the elbow he took from the Rays' Logan Forsythe on Saturday night. Sox manager John Farrell said it would be "optimistic for the second baseman to play in tomorrow's series opener against the Yankees in New York. .. The Sox made their first September call-up, summoning RHP Steven Wright from Pawtucket. The roster now stands at 26 players, with more moves expected tomorrow. .. Ortoz is fifth in the AL in homers with 30, trailing league leader Nelson Cruz of the Orioles by five. .. The Sox have won five straight and seven of nine on the road. A victory today would mark their 32nd road win of the season, against just 29 at Fenway park.
