Another part of this deal has the teams swapping relievers. Cleveland setup man David Riske (3-4 with a 3.10 ERA and a 0.96 WHIP in 2005) will head to Boston and Guillermo Mota (2-2 with a 4.70 ERA in ’05), whom the Sox acquired in the Josh Beckett deal, will go to Cleveland.
